Early Postsecondary Opportunities (EPSOs)

An Early Post Secondary Opportunity (or EPSO) is a high school course or program that allows a student to gain college credit or industry certification. In order for an EPSO to qualify for college credit hours, a student must take the applicable exam.

In Metro Schools, we offer several different types of EPSOs in our high schools. All students are encouraged to participate and enroll in these EPSOs and are rewarded with additional quality points onto their GPAs as an added student incentive to enroll.
