Dual Enrollment

Dual Enrollment

Do you know students can work towards an Associate's Degree while enrolled in high school? Dual Enrollment is a partnership between local colleges and universities to offer college credits in certain courses during the typical school schedule.

When students meet admission requirements and financial aid guidelines, students are eligible to apply to specific colleges and enroll in college courses. Some of our high schools offer the course on their campuses, while others offer the course in a virtual or hybrid format.  Learn more about your high school's Dual Enrollment offerings by viewing their Ready Graduate offerings.

At present, Metro Schools have signed Contracts with the following college partners in order to offer Dual Enrollment:

  • Nashville State Community College
  • Tennessee State University
  • Middle Tennessee State University - Aeronautics courses only
  • University of Tennessee at Martin
  • Tennessee Technological University
