Advocating for Students

“We advocate for every student every day to meet their academic, social and emotional needs,” said Executive Principal Elnora Mitchell. This follows suit of the district’s Every Student Known initiative.

This elementary school opened in 1957 with what was then considered a huge enrollment of 250 first- through sixth-graders learning in eight classrooms. The school is named after Earnest T. Chadwell, a former Davidson County Board of Education chairman.
