Every Student Known

There is nothing more important than a child's education. How we instill knowledge, values, and caring to children helps them grow into productive, compassionate, and successful adults.

At Metro Nashville Public Schools, we know developing the whole child is critical to building a strong learning community. That's why we work closely with students, staff, families, and the community to ensure every child is ready for college, career, and life.

Every student is different, so Metro Schools offer programs as diverse as the families they serve, all focused on the goal of educating every child. At all grade levels, students have options that are tailored to meet their needs and abilities.

Many programs are available in every school, like music and the arts, special education, English learner services, and more. Other academic programs can vary by school, with some schools focusing on themes like Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), Montessori, International Baccalaureate, and others.
