They’re the places where superstars got their start. They’ve taught and trained and cared for hundreds of thousands of young people, building foundations for success year after year. And they’ve brought neighborhoods and communities together from one generation to another. 
For all of that and more, Nashville’s public schools are worth celebrating – every day.

Starting Monday, August 16, with Chadwell Elementary, and continuing through the 2021-22 school year, we’ll celebrate MNPS’s schools on mnps.org and across our MNPS social media channels with history, fun facts, and photos. You'll find the stories on our Celebration page.
Every school day will bring a new post about another school, showing what makes it unique and how it is making Every Student Known.
We hope you’ll join in the fun, too:
- Follow the Celebration of Schools schedule and share the stories.
- Wear your favorite school’s colors on the day it’s featured (or any day, really).
- Send a thank you, or note, to a teacher, administrator or staff member.
- Share your memories and photos and support your favorite school’s athletic events, community gatherings, and other activities on social media by tagging your school and @MetroSchools with #EverySchoolKnown.
