If you want to see some great artwork by MNPS middle school and high school students, you should head to The Parthenon by January 6.
More than 20 students from seven MNPS schools were winners in the 15th annual Middle Tennessee Regional Student Art Exhibition, presented by the Tennessee Art Education Association and The Parthenon, and the art they created is now on display at the iconic building in Centennial Park. More than 600 entries were submitted by art students from across the region.
“We are incredibly proud of the art students whose artwork was selected for this special exhibit,” said Jeff Smith, MNPS’s director of visual and performing arts. “Their art teachers also deserve our praise for supporting a culture of high expectations and academic excellence in the arts. I am excited to see the ‘best of’ work again this summer.”
